Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency Successfully Concludes the 20th Semiconductor Technology Seminar
The Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency announced on the 4th that it had successfully wrapped up the "20th Semiconductor Technology Seminar."
Held on the 3rd at the multipurpose hall on the third floor of the Dongtan Incubating Center, the seminar began with a special lecture by Professor Jeon Hyung-tak from Hanyang University on "Types and Trends of ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition)" followed by a presentation by Jeong In-sung, author of The Future of the Semiconductor Empire, on the topic "Semiconductor as a Partner of Software."
After the lectures, attendees had the opportunity to freely exchange ideas and share insights on the latest trends and key technologies in the semiconductor industry.
One participant commented, "It was a beneficial opportunity to grasp the latest trends in the semiconductor industry and strengthen competitiveness. I hope such platforms for sharing the industry’s current status and vision will continue in the future."
The seminar was attended by over 70 individuals, including Chairman Bae Jung-soo of Hwaseong City Council, Kim Jong-bok, Chair of the Cultural Welfare Committee, and executives and employees from local companies as well as related organizations.
On the same day, the Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency also hosted the "Hwaseong City Regional Economic Development Contributor Awards Ceremony."

A representative who received the Mayor’s Award shared, "I have always pondered ways to contribute to Hwaseong City's economic development, and I am truly grateful to have my efforts recognized. I will continue to work toward the sustainable economic growth of Hwaseong City."
